Biz Brief: CRP Technology Srl

CRP Technology Srl (Modena, Italy) has opened an office in Southern California. Stewart Davis will be the director of operations for CRP USA. The new entity will introduce CRP Technology’s CNC machining, rapid prototyping (RP) and rapid manufacturing (RM), casting technologies and its design optimization and materials development services to North America. Davis’ responsibilities also will extend to South America and Australia and will include sales and customer support. The Italian firm has been involved with winning motorsports racing teams in Formula One, MotoGP, WRC (World Rally Championship), American Le Mans Series and Rally Raid (Paris-Dakar) categories. CRP also supplies the Windform range of laser sintering composite materials recently used to RM a complex composite part for a motorcycle engine (see “Related Content” at left).
