Fiberglass supplier GRP Solutions Ltd. (Portsmouth, U.K.) announces its recent acquisition of Estakleen Systems Ltd. (Wimborne, U.K.). Estakleen is a supplier of acetone replacement products including EasyClean, supplied for several years by GRP Solutions, and the previously named Estakleen 70. According to GRP Solutions, the acquisition is in line with its aim to develop a more sustainable range of products including non-hazardous alternatives to acetone.

GRP Solutions also welcome Vince Taylor, formerly operations manager at Estakleen, as the company’s new business development manager for Estakleen products, and Glenn Russell, who manages the Estakleen warehouse and cleaning service based in Corfe Mullen, England.

“Offering an eco-friendlier solvent replacement system to the industrial market, consisting of an acetone replacement and workstations, forms part of our wider ambition to drive change through the composites market,” says Brian Harpur, managing director of GRP Solutions. “This non-flammable, non-toxic and non-harmful approach to cleaning tools is a more sustainable solution which lasts three to four times longer than acetone.”
