Advanced composites training, engineering consultation services
CAMX 2023: Celebrating 40 years, Abaris Training Resources returns to CAMX presenting courses offerings for advanced composites education, as well as engineering consultation services and other technical assistance.
This year, Abaris Training Resources Inc. (Reno, Nev., U.S.) is celebrating 40 years of excellence in advanced composite training and services. Louis (Lou) Dorworth, who will be participating in SAMPE Technical Committee offerings at the conference, will be on hand along with other staff members to discuss regular Abaris course offerings related to composite manufacturing and structural repair for the aerospace, automotive, transportation and wind energy sectors. In addition, the company continues to highlight its course offerings in composite engineering, design and analysis, mold fabrication, resin infusion, adhesive bonding and nondestructive inspection (NDI).
With three fully functional classrooms and adjacent workshop areas at its headquarters in Reno, Nev., U.S., Abaris can accommodate multiple classes at the same time, or classes can be presented on-site at customer facilities, providing more options for students to attend throughout the year. Abaris focuses on active learning (hands-on) methods in both the classroom and the workshop for all courses, in order for students to enhance their knowledge and tactile skills.
The company is also offering engineering consultation services and other technical assistance to customers to help streamline development or production efforts. Abaris’ direct services team can assist in making material and processing decisions at the beginning of a project, or troubleshooting anomalies found in a customer’s current processes.
To help save on tuition costs, Abaris is offering a $100 discount to all CAMX attendees. Simply use the discount code CAMX100 (case-sensitive) upon checkout online through the website or contact Abaris and mention the code when enrolling.
