Effective immediately, the Biesterfeld Group (Hamburg, Germany) is supporting the sale of Saertex GmbH & Co. KG’s (Saerbeck, Germany) composite products to the aerospace and automotive markets for the Iberia Peninsula region. The cooperation will provide Spanish and Portuguese customers with qualified consulting and the best possible access to Saertex products. Existing Saertex customers can continue to consult their usual contact person.

Through this cooperation, customers will benefit from an increased presence in the Iberian market as well as responsive service and uncomplicated access to the Saertex product portfolio. Sven Blank, commercial director at Saertex, is also looking forward to the cooperation: “In Biesterfeld we have gained a strong distribution partner with an excellent reputation for aerospace and automotive applications. We are confident that the company’s application-oriented know-how and excellent networking will further develop our business in the Iberian market. A strong customer focus ensures comprehensive service around Saertex’s range of customized multiaxial non-crimp fabrics.”

In addition to the multiaxial non-crimp fabrics for which Saertex is known, Biesterfeld rounds off the range with modern composite materials such as prepregs, adhesive films, adhesives and primers, which are chiefly used in aerospace, the automotive industry and other industrial applications.
In addition to a product portfolio tailored to the needs of the industry, Biesterfeld also offers solution-oriented, application technology expertise and local consulting.

The new sales partnership in Spain and Portugal consolidates the long-standing relationship between the two companies through the close cooperation between Saertex and Biesterfeld in the Polish market. The Biesterfeld Group is represented there by Milar Sp. z o. o. (Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland).
