AI-powered functionalities streamline Vericut knowledge accessibility
Vericut Intelligence (VI) and Vericut Assistant (VA) will act as knowledge and application hubs for Vericut software users to simplify information access.
Global software solutions provider Vericut (Formerly CGTech, Irvine, Calif, U.S.) announces the upcoming release of two AI-powered tools: Vericut Intelligence (VI) and Vericut Assistant (VA). These resources will enable users to interact with and gain knowledge from the company’s software suite, and applies to all Vericut products, including Vericut Composites Programming (VCP) and Vericut Composites Simulation (VCS).
VI is designed to serve as a comprehensive knowledge hub for all of Vericut’s software offerings, including Vericut, Composites, Vericut Optimizer and a variety of other modules and features. This resource is accessible to everyone and provides in-depth information on any aspect of Vericut’s software, from basic inquiries like “What is Force?” to more detailed questions about specific functionalities like “What is X-Caliper?”
While VI focuses on providing comprehensive product knowledge, VA is designed to assist users with the practical application of Vericut software. VA offers step-by-step guidance on how to use various features, answering how-to questions directly within the software. For example, users can ask, “How do I use AUTO-DIFF?” and receive precise instructions. As VA evolves, it will also start to interact directly with the software, allowing users to perform tasks like, “Add a tool with these criteria.”
“Our goal with Vericut Intelligence and Vericut Assistant is to simplify access to this wealth of information, making it intuitive and easy for users to deepen their understanding of our software,” says Gene Granata, director of product management at Vericut. “These tools will deliver intelligence that’s useful and relevant, streamlining the user experience and setting a new standard for product knowledge accessibility.”
The platform is designed to protect customers’ privacy, ensuring that customer data is not used to train the AI. “The introduction of Vericut Intelligence and Vericut Assistant marks the beginning of a long-term strategy to integrate AI into Vericut’s products, with the ultimate goal of maximizing productivity while ensuring privacy,” emphasizes Frankie Cates, director of information and security at Vericut, and the developer behind VI and VA.
These tools will be available with the next major release of Vericut.
