CW press portal for composites-related press/product announcements

Gardner Business Media Inc. (Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.), the parent company of CompositesWorld, has officially launched its Gardner Press Release Portal, an intuitive tool that can be used to more easily submit your company’s news or new product releases for consideration by CW editors — or, if applicable, to one or more of Gardner’s 10 other manufacturing-related publications.

To submit, first visit the Gardner portal link (or find it through Gardnerweb.com, Ad Specs & Info under the drop-down menu, Press Release Portal) and follow the requested steps:

  • Select the primary and/or secondary media brand this press/product release is most appropriate for.

  • Populate your company name directly from Gardner’s supplier database. If your company is not listed, the portal will prompt with additional questions and ask if the news or new product is under embargo.

  • Select the press release type that is most appropriate for your content, and the editorial categories it fits best in.

  • Fill in the designated space given for the press/product release, including a title, deck and the main body text. We ask that you also please submit at least one high-resolution image in JPEG, PNG or TIFF format. Acceptable photos should be at least 2,400 × 3,300 pixels (300 dpi minimum) and at least 3 x 5 inches (76 x 127 mm). We do not accept logos.

  • Complete contact reference — please note that this is simply to ensure a readily available contact, should an editor have questions concerning content, edits, images, etc.

  • Submit the piece to the designated brand.

Once submitted, the press/product release will be sent directly to CW managing editor Grace Nehls for consideration and review. Please note that, like all content published on CW’s website and in print, each submitted item will be edited to conform to brand style guidelines.

In addition, the editorial guidelines each individual brand follows (including CW) have been linked at the bottom of the portal page for additional reference.

Why should I consider using this portal?

You can always send press releases directly to CW via the general contact address for the publication (press@compositesworld.com), but the the press portal provides a more simplified way to ensure your press/product release is seen by CW editors. Moreover, using the portal enables editors to be more time efficient; using the portal means all text and images already populate the content management system used by CW, speeding up the process through which the content your company submits is considered, and, if applicable, published.

Can I still email my press/product releases?

Yes, sending press releases to the press@compositesworld.com address still works; the press portal is simply another way to communicate with us.
