Re:Build Manufacturing acquires DAPR, enhances onshoring with advanced engineering support
DAPR Engineering expands capabilities and speed of Re:Build Engineering Services group, develop industrial automation and process equipment.
On Aug. 4, Re:Build Manufacturing (Framingham, Mass., U.S.) acquired DAPR Engineering (Nashua, N.H., U.S.) which significantly expands and adds capabilities to the company’s Engineering Services group. This follows the acquisitions of Cutting Dynamics Inc. (CDI, Avon, Ohio, U.S.) in May 2021, composites fabricator Composite Resources (Rock Hill, S.C., U.S.) in March 2021 and Oribi Manufacturing (Commerce City, Colo., U.S.) in late 2020.
DAPR Engineering is an engineering services organization specializing in developing innovative engineering solutions with expertise in custom automation; engineering analysis; industrial equipment development; and turnkey build and integration. It also focuses on challenging and demanding applications supported by fundamental engineering principles and analysis. Since its inception more than seven years ago, DAPR says it has delivered high-value systems and services to a multitude of clients across many industries. This depth and breadth of experience will allow DAPR to have an immediate impact within the Re:Build organization in fulfilling the mission of bringing manufacturing back to North America.
Along with The Pilot Group (Monrovia, Calif., U.S.) Re:Build Engineering Services says it now has a footprint on both the east and west coasts in the U.S. “DAPR Engineering is honored to have been asked to join Re:Build in this important quest to shore up manufacturing here in the U.S. We are looking forward to collaborating with the other Re:Build companies to be successful in our mission, as well as expanding our reach to support other manufacturing opportunities in our current path and beyond,” says Steve Garrant, president of DAPR Engineering.
According to Miles Arnone, CEO of Re:Build Manufacturing, the company’s goal is to drive the growth of engineering and manufacturing businesses in North America and to help re-establish the ability to compete. “With DAPR, we have expanded the capabilities and speed of our Engineering Services group. DAPR Engineering will also develop industrial automation and process equipment that can be brought to bear at Re:Build Platform companies and Total Production Solutions.”
