SHD Group relocates to newest prepreg facility in Slovenia
With its new 1,500-square meter manufacturing premises, SHD Composite Materials Europe d.o.o. has doubled production capacity, producing a solid foundation to support customers.
As part of its group’s ongoing growth plans and commitment to prepreg quality and service, SHD Composite Materials Europe d.o.o. (Krško, Slovenia) has relocated to new manufacturing premises.
The 1,500-square meter factory, located a short distance from the original site in Krško, provides a major increase in capacity and facilities, SHD notes, creating a strong foundation to continue its expansion in support of its dynamic customer base across Europe.
The expansion will double SHD’s production capacity. Its team moved into the facility in September 2022, successfully commissioning all new equipment and has received quality certification following the group’s annual AS9100 audit.
“We are proud of our new Slovenian plant and the highly skilled team that are based there,” Steve Doughty, SHD Composite Materials Europe d.o.o. managing director, says. “Our customers know our 100% focus on excellence in service and quality. This new facility means we now have a solid foundation to support our customers for the foreseeable future. Please feel free to come and visit the plant to see what we do.”
