Airtech introduces new tapes

Airtech (Huntington Beach, CA, US) has launched additional tapes in Pre-Cut format (1" x 2" / 2.54 cm x 5.08 cm) for customers who want to reduce touch labor and minimize the use of knives and scissors to avoid risk of injury and damaging the vacuum bag. According to Airtech benefits include reduced waste as the tapes are said to be precision cut to the proper length. The company says it can customize and offer pre-cut strips for almost any pressure sensitive tape. 

In addition, Airtech has introduced GS-333LT Vacuum Bag Sealant Tape, a low tack version of their standard GS-333 tape. GS-333LT is a sealant tape which has been designed to take longer cures and still remove cleanly. It is usable up to 400°F (204°C). The multi-purpose tape can be used on metal and composite tooling.
