Welcome to an all-new version of CompositesWorld’s SourceBook, our indispensable guide to the composites industry’s suppliers of machinery, materials, software, supplies, services and other technologies.

SourceBook 2024 is designed to be a comprehensive industry supplier resource that includes both print-based media and a variety of web-based resources (compositesworld.com/suppliers). Together, the SourceBook’s printed version and its online counterpart deliver a wealth of content and searchable resources that we believe will make it worthy of a place on your bookshelf and in your browser. This year’s print version lists more than 1,750 suppliers, whose products and services for composites manufacturing are listed in more than 500 product, material, equipment and service categories. Each year, the company listings are updated for the new print edition, making SourceBook 2024 the most authoritative and reliable directory in the composites industry.

In the spirit of always looking for ways to provide you with helpful information in the most suitable format, CW has slightly redesigned this year’s installment, adding a new reference section to the front of the book. This reimagined “Composites 101” resource offers a helpful guide to composites basics and fundamentals. Whether you use this new section, selected from CW’s most frequently referenced evergreen articles, as a refresher or as primer for training new employees, we expect you’ll find this a valuable addition.

Never fear, CW’s “Market Outlook,” an annual overview of trends in a variety of end markets, is returning for 2024 and beyond. This collection of insightful articles examines the current state and future possibilities of the diverse major markets served by composites manufacturers — aerospace, automotive, energy, marine, industrial, etc. — and can be found online only at https://www.compositesworld.com/topics/composites-market-outlook

Sourcebook 2024: Your print and digital guide to the composites industry.

Also online, you’ll find our Glossary of Terms, which provides definitions for many technical terms and acronyms (particularly those unique to the composites industry), as well as an updated list of industry organizations that offers the most complete information available on pertinent trade and technical associations that serve the global composites industry.

You’ll also find an Index to Products and Services, listing suppliers to the composites industry by company name. The SourceBook’s Alphabetical Listing of Suppliers includes company names, locations and URLs in the print edition. If you’re looking for even more information, expanded company data, including addresses and phone numbers, sales and engineering contacts and product/service descriptions are viewable in each company’s online SourceBook Showroom. Any time you need additional information about a company that you find here in the print edition, it’s easy to find at compositesworld.com/suppliers.

The SourceBook’s online edition, enables you to search a wider database (more than 1,750 suppliers, with those who elected to update for 2024 indicated by a check mark). Online, you can link to a supplier’s website and email suppliers directly with your requests for additional information about products or services.

Further, the online SourceBook enables you search for products, equipment, materials and services by category, allowing you to drill down by subcategories and find what you’re looking for, as well as related products or services. These additional data are displayed online in supplier Showrooms and in the searchable online category sections.

Ultimately, we believe the SourceBook — both the print edition and our online version — will serve you well and contribute to your firm’s success in 2024. At CW, our goal is to continually provide readers with the most up-to-date industry information and foster connections. To that end, we hope you find the changes in this year’s SourceBook helpful and welcome any feedback as we continue to make this resource one that you’ll turn to time and time again.

On behalf of the CW team, I wish you a prosperous 2024!
