He is chartered with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and is also a former non-executive board director of Composites UK, the trade association for the UK's composite industry, where he contributes to the promotion and development of the sector. Lucas's mission is to leverage his expertise and enthusiasm to create value for his customers, team, company and the wider composites industry.

Avner Ben-Bassat is the president and CEO of Plataine, a provider of AI-based and IIoT optimization solutions for advanced manufacturing. Avner leads Plataine's product vision and global business strategy. Plataine's solutions are used by leading manufacturers worldwide. Mr. Ben-Bassat has been invited to speak at over 40 major composites and aerospace-related conferences globally in the past five years, including Airtec, CAMX, SAMPE, JEC World, AeroDef, China Composites Expo and SME. He holds an MBA with distinction from Duke University and a bachelor's degree (magna cum laude) in mathematics and computer sciences from Tel-Aviv University.
