Additive Manufacturing conference 2022 opens call for presentations
The 2022 Additive Manufacturing Conference program, put on by advanced materials sister brand, Additive Manufacturing Media, focuses on 3D printing for scale production.
Peter Zelinski, editor-in-chief for Additive Manufacturing speaks at the 2021 Additive Manufacturing Conference.
The Additive Manufacturing Conference, put on by sister brand Additive Manufacturing Media, has opened its call for presentations for the 2022 program, located this year at IMTS, The International Manufacturing Technology Show, Sept. 14-15, 2022 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
“IMTS has become a leading platform for demonstrating the latest in industrial additive manufacturing technology,” says Peter Zelinski, program director for the event. “Bringing the conference back here gives us the perfect opportunity to learn how 3D printing is complementing and disrupting manufacturing as a whole.”
The 2022 call for speakers reflects the breadth of uses for AM in manufacturing. Conference organizers are focused on end-users that are successfully making production parts or tooling additively; researchers who are pushing the boundaries of what 3D printing can do; and the various technology and software providers who have become an integral part of the additive manufacturing ecosystem.
Additive Manufacturing Conference attendees represent companies of all shapes, sizes and specialties, ranging from multinational OEMs to independent contract machine shops, and covering a wide range of end markets and job titles. Presentations should focus on high-level technical applications and demonstrations of cutting-edge technology and services.
Speakers receive a complimentary pass to the conference, download of the proceedings after the event and an invitation to all networking activities, including the grand reception.
The deadline for papers is April 29, 2022. Abstracts can be submitted online.
