How to help CW help you and our audience
It’s more important than ever that you communicate with us about your company’s new products, new technologies, expansions and other activities.
CompositesWorld’s mission is to provide reliable, high-utility information that helps its audience — designers, fabricators and consumers of composite parts and structures — do its work as efficiently as possible. This has always been true, but in light of the coronavirus pandemic, it’s truer than ever.
It’s also more important than ever that you communicate with us about your company’s new products, new technologies, expansions and other activities. Whether you are a raw material supplier, weaver, prepregger, designer, toolmaker, fabricator or the ultimate customer consuming composite parts, you likely have information to share with the CW audience.
So, as a reminder, here is a list of information that is of interest to CW’s audience:
- New products, new technologies: Send a press release to CW that summarizes the product, how it’s applied to composites manufacturing, and features and benefits. Press release can be Word or PDF format, or embedded in e-mail. Always include a high-resolution photo, either JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. Send to press@compositesworld.com. See example here: Solvay launches epoxy prepreg for aerostructures compression molding
- Company news: Send a press release to CW about facility expansions, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, awards, contracts, certifications, technologies added or employees hired. Press release can be Word or PDF format, or embedded in e-mail. Include a high-resolution photo, either JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. Send to press@compositesworld.com. See example here: Composite Resources, Pyromeral form manufacturing alliance
- Case histories: If you have a customer who has used your product or technology to help solve a composites manufacturing challenge, send CW a summary of the case history. Include a description of the original challenge, the solution, materials used, processes used and the result. Case history can be Word or PDF format, or embedded in e-mail. Include high-resolution photos, either JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. Send to press@compositesworld.com. See example here: FRP chosen for New York pedestrian bridge as part of 9/11 rebuild project
- Coronavirus pandemic: The global spread of the coronavirus has created myriad restrictions and instructions issued to manufacturers in the U.S. and around the world. Some businesses are closed while others are categorized as “essential” and thus remain open. Please help the CW audience stay up to date on your company’s status during these uncertain times. What is the status of your operations? Are you at full or partial capacity? Are you facing product delivery delays or supply chain disruptions? Are you changing your operations to produce products helpful to the treatment of COVID-19? These statements can be Word or PDF format, or embedded in e-mail. Include high-resolution photos, either JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. Send to press@compositesworld.com. See example here: Composites suppliers, fabricators respond to coronavirus
As always, if you have any questions about CW and how to work with us, contact editor-in-chief Jeff Sloan at jeff@compositesworld.com.
