LMT Tools announces senior leadership changes
LMT Tools (Waukegan, Ill., U.S.), a company that develops and produces precision tools, has announced two recent organizational changes. Mark Hemmerling has been appointed as the president of LMT Onsrud and head of Americas for LMT Tools USA. Chris Pickett has been promoted as the vice president (VP) of sales and marketing of LMT Onsrud and LMT USA.
Hemmerling initially started at LMT Onsrud as the VP of sales and marketing in July 2016. He became president of LMT Onsrud and LMT USA in July 2022. He comes with vast experience in a leadership position. Dating back to his days before LMT Onsrud, he spent 14 years as the director of marketing Americas region at Walter Tools (Tübingen, Germany).
Pickett joined the senior management team in August 2022, stepping down from his previous role as the sales director of the Eastern region that he began in April 2017 with LMT Onsrud. With more than 25 years of experience in cutting tools, he has served in many different roles within the industry. He will lead the sales and marketing efforts for LMT Onsrud.
Hemmerling and Pickett, along with Bill Hallam, VP of finance and shared services for LMT Onsrud, and Brenan Guy, VP of operations for LMT Onsrud form the senior management team.
Aerostructures division adds business development director
Tighitco Inc. (Charleston, S.C., U.S.) announces that John Mlincsek has joined the company as director of business development – aerostructures. Mlincsek brings 20 years of aerospace and sales experience to this role. He will be responsible for building market position and managing partnerships for the aerostructures composite division.
“Through John’s efforts, we will see our composite business expand in aerostructures as well as into other industries,” Mark Withrow, CEO, Tighitco, says. “His background in business development brings a renewed focus for outreach and demonstrates our commitment to adapting to marketplace needs.”
Most recently, Mlincsek was director of sales and marketing for Amfuel (Magnolia, Ark., U.S.). Previously, he held the position of VP sales and marketing for Meggitt’s (Coventry, U.K.) Airframe Systems Fuel Systems & Composites Product Group. His efforts are directly tied to winning significant government contacts and major OEM awards ($200+ million annually) while overseeing corporate initiatives across facilities in Georgia, Maryland and the U.K.
Mlincsek joined Engineered Fabrics Corp. (now Meggitt) in September 2005 and assumed the role of business development manager. He was solely responsible for the program management aspects of accounting, purchasing, engineering, production and delivery for primary customers such as Northrop Grumman Corp., Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Agusta Westland.
After retiring from more than 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy and prior to his employment with Meggitt, Mlincsek was a senior consultant with Young Clark & Associates (Atlanta, Ga., U.S.).
During his distinguished Naval career, he amassed more than 2,500 flight hours and 300 carrier landings flying the E-2C Hawkeye and F/A-18 Hornet aircraft. He earned numerous military citations namely two Meritorious Service Medals. Mlincsek holds a Bachelor of Science in marine engineering from the United States Naval Academy (Anne Arundel County, Md., U.S.)
