Submit your CAMX 2022 abstracts by March 1
Abstracts for Technical Papers and Education Sessions are still being accepted for the Oct. 17-20, 2022 conference in Anaheim, California.

The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX) invites those interested in demonstrating their knowledge and expertise to submit an abstract for a technical paper or educational session no later than March 1, 2022. The comprehensive composites trade show will be returning to Anaheim, Calif., on Oct. 17-20, 2022.
CAMX brings together the ideas, science and business connections that are creating the materials and products of the future. It also cultivates opportunities for speakers and attendees to share and learn while connecting with colleagues who are dedicated to growing the composites industry.
Technical papers are formal, written research papers reviewed by industry experts. Those accepted for publication will be scheduled for a 25-minute presentation during the CAMX 2022 conference. The final abstracts chosen will be released in late March, with technical paper drafts due June 1.
Criteria include:
- Presenting research on materials and products, cutting-edge applications, design protocol, code development, case histories and statistical analysis.
- Are thoroughly peer-reviewed for inclusion in the program and for consideration in the Outstanding Technical Paper Awards Program
- Will be published in ACMA’s and SAMPE’s online archive and in the CAMX Conference Proceedings.
- Are presented in 25-minute sessions at CAMX using a detailed PowerPoint presentation to further detail included research.
- Must be non-commercial.
Alternately, Education Sessions are 55-minute presentations and are not accompanied by a formal research paper. Instead, they focus on case studies, best practices, issue reviews, etc. All outlines and draft presentations will be peer reviewed before presentation. The final abstracts chosen will be released in late March, with technical paper drafts due June 1.
Criteria include:
- Offer how-tos, troubleshooting, best practices, case studies and process assistance.
- Address issues such as composites tooling, processing fundamentals, facility design, business management, market trends, regulatory concerns, waste reduction, industry challenges, growing markets, end-use of composites and more.
- Are extensive, 55-minute PowerPoint presentations hosted at CAMX with no formal technical paper.
- Must be non-commercial.
