Sunwell invests in Taiwan-based Cotech to advance into aerospace and new energy vehicle markets
Under this deal, Sunwell Carbon Fiber Composites commits to carbon neutrality and the creation of novel composite materials.

Sunwell Carbon Fiber Composites Co. Ltd. (Nantou, Taiwan and Funing, Jiangsu Province, China) a subsidiary of Swancor Holdings (Taiwan) offering a range of prepreg, thermoplastics, carbon fiber and glass fiber solutions, is investing in Cotech Inc. (Taichung, Taiwan), a company with expertise in the system integration, design, tooling and manufacturing for aerospace and commercial composite systems. Winning the majority of seats on the board of Cotech is a step forward for Sunwell to enter the aerospace and new energy vehicle markets. The company’s plan is to expand its blueprint further by committing to carbon neutrality and the creation of novel composite materials.
Alongside this investment, Sunwell Carbon Fiber has acquires AS9100 aerospace qualification certification and IATF 16949 automotive certification in addition to its existing ones in the carbon fiber composite material market. The deal also includes a few major internationally well-known customers, including aerospace manufacturers and Japanese automakers. Combining Cotech’s product development experience, technology and patents to Sunwell’s current product range completes the company’s multiple high-value market strategy layout.
