Vision Composite Products (Decatur, Ala., U.S.), also known as Vision Wheel, has achieved ISO 9001 quality management systems (QMS) certification from NSF International Strategic Registrations (NSF-ISR), an NSF company. The standard helps organizations reliably meet the needs of clients in the delivery and continuous improvement of products and services.
Using the experience gained from more than 40 years of wheel design and manufacturing, Vision Composite Products has invented a proprietary, highly scalable solution for creating structural carbon fiber products. While currently specializing in Carbon Fiber Forged wheels, Vision Composite Products says it continues to invest and grow to provide the next generation of lightweighting technology to be used across many diverse industries. CW reported on one such composite wheel innovation, debuted at CAMX 2021.
“Here at Vision Composite Products, we pride ourselves on providing products that continue to push the boundaries for creating greater accessibility to next-generation technology through affordable, robust and scalable manufacturing processes,” the company says.
ISO 9001 is based on quality management principles such as a strong customer focus, the involvement of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Certification to ISO 9001 helps companies provide consistent, good quality products and services. The standard focuses on performance through a combination of risk-based thinking and a process approach, as well as employment of the “plan-do-check-act” cycle at all levels in the organization.
“Through certification to ISO 9001, Vision Composite Products is able to not only improve their products, process and service quality, but also helps them reduce waste,” Jen Morecraft, senior director of NSF-ISR, states. “This shows Vision Composite Products commitment to improve their business and meet customer expectations globally.”
