Intelligent autoclaves emphasize sustainability, efficiency
CAMX 2023: Olmar introduces its “intelligent” autoclave, a combination of the company’s Industry 4.0 technology and its 75 years experience in autoclave and oven manufacture.
Olmar (Gijón, Spain) dedicated to autoclaves, ovens and control systems, with an industrial complex that is more than 860,000 square feet and 75 years of experience. The company is a reference manufacturer of autoclaves up to 32" in diameter, and offers a corresponding advanced software solution for composite applications.
Olmar’s autoclaves and ovens for the treatment of composite/carbon fiber materials manufactured by Olmar (called ATCs) provide users with a high level of design, reliability and durability, guaranteeing optimum functionality and efficiency throughout their service life.
Thanks to Olmar’s autoclave control system, developed entirely by its electrical and software departments, the company can now use its reporting technology to provide highly accurate data control and analysis on the international market, catering to Industry 4.0, through the creation of an “intelligent” autoclave.
Integrating energy efficiency, usability, predictive control and low maintenance functionalities into the autoclave’s OCS control software is said to reduce the consumption costs of the autoclave, improving its productivity and optimizing all regular maintenance tasks that need to be performed. Thanks to its high level of connectivity and the incorporation of advanced remote connection solutions, Olmar says its technical service is able to provide front-end support to any country in the world.
