According to Air and Business Travel News and Advice (ABTN), Moller International says its flying car could be ready by year-end.

The M400 Skycar made by Moller International in California will apparently use propulsion similar to that of a Harrier jump jet and is capable of speeds up to 375 mph (603 kph).

Moller says the Skycar reportedly can rise above traffic, but does not address questions of air-traffic control of the machines.
