On November 12-13, the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) will host the third annual Transportation and Defense Policy Fly-In at the Holiday Inn Capitol in Washington, DC. With momentum already moving for increased use of composites in infrastructure, ACMA is expanding its efforts in transportation and defense and offering a two-day education and advocacy event.
The Transportation and Defense Policy Fly-In will allow attendees to better understand the political landscape and the issues that impact a business' bottom line. Attendees will acquire new skills to effectively communicate their issues to members of Congress and gain insights to open key federally-influenced markets including defense, transportation, and aerospace markets.
The event will include keynote talks with leaders in Congress and the Administration, panels on transportation and defense policy issues, and arranged meetings between attendees and Members of Congress representing their plant locations, as well as staff from key Congressional committees.
