Belzona UK opens dedicated maintenance, repair training facility

Belzona (Harrogate, U.K.), a manufacturer and supplier of industrial protective coatings and repair for metals and composites, announces the official opening of its independent U.K. Distributorship in Flintshire, Hawarden, Wales, which will provide state-of-the-art training, distribution and in-house application service. 

The company tells CW that all validated hands-on training — including that using Belzona composite materials (SuperWrap II) — are still currently conducted at its location in Harrogate. However, the company is looking to accommodate these at this new Hawarden facility in the near future, where it will then be classed as a SuperWrap II Validated Training Centre.

The £3 million facility was carefully selected and designed to provide the U.K. market with a new training and application area, featuring a fully equipped presentation suite and newly built practical workshop space, measuring 585 square meters. A fully stocked and operational warehouse, measuring 900 square meters, accompanies the floor space.

The product training programs, already in operation, currently cater to machinery and equipment, buildings and structures, and bespoke courses for specific components, providing a multitude of opportunities for industry maintenance training. The 2024 training calendar will be available to view on the Belzona U.K. website soon.
