Airbus Corporate Jets’ (ACJ, Toulouse, France) TwoTwenty business jet launched just over a year ago, completed its first flight from the Mirabel, Québec, Canada, airport on Dec. 14. The production test flight was performed by test pilots Christophe Marchand and Adam Mason and supported by Flight Test Engineer Romuald Scheling. Based off Airbus’ A220, the ACJ TwoTwenty has composite wings.

The aircraft will be delivered to aviation company Comlux (Zürich, Switzerland) in the coming weeks and then outfitted with a VVIP cabin at the company’s completion center in Indianapolis, Ind., U.S., after the delivery. Comlux has been selected as an exclusive outfitting partner for the first 15 ACJ TwoTwenty aircraft.

The ACJ TwoTwenty, says Airbus, is a new value proposition to business aviation buyers. The solution combines intercontinental range enabling the aircraft to fly up to 5,650 nautical miles/10,500 kilometers (more than 12 flight hours) and unmatched personal space providing comfort for each passenger with 73 square meters/785 square feet of floor space.

The ACJ TwoTwenty is also reported to be the only business jet featuring six wide VIP living areas, of around 12 square meters/130 square feet each and is at a price point of a Dassault Aviation Paris France) ULR bizjet. Equipped with a signature flexible cabin catalog, this fully completed aircraft is ideal for private and business jet users.
