Sicomin extends epoxy systems support for Scandinavian customers
Appointment of new Swedish distributor, DockYard Composites, will stock and supply Sicomin pre-formulated and custom-made epoxy systems and offer technical support.
Sicomin (Châteauneuf les Martigues, France), formulator and supplier of high-performance epoxy resin systems, announces the latest expansion to its global distributor network with the appointment of DockYard Composites as its new Swedish distributor. Effective immediately, DockYard Composites will provide Sicomin materials from inventory, along with experienced composite technical support, for customers throughout Sweden.
Based in Sollentuna, just north of Stockholm, DockYard Composites is a newly established composites supplier offering a broad range of composite materials, consumables and equipment. The company will now also stock and supply Sicomin’s extensive range of pre-formulated and custom-made epoxy systems. These include Sicomin’s industry-accredited range of fire retardant products developed for construction and aerospace applications and the Greenpoxy range of advanced bio-based resins, which are currently being used with great success in the automotive, winter and water sports sectors (take a look at some applications, including the Couach superyacht, wind turbine nacelle, wind surfing fins and flax fiber-reinforced boat).
The new distributor agreement continues to grow Sicomin’s support for customers in the Scandinavian region and will not only provide end users with the latest in epoxy technology but will also deliver shorter material lead times and rapid feedback for any technical support queries.
“We are delighted to welcome DockYard Composites to our distributor network,” says Marc Denjean, export manager, Sicomin. “Our customers will now have faster and easier access to our extensive range of epoxy systems as well as benefiting from a diligent delivery service and support from an excellent regional sales team.”
