Spintech Holdings Inc. (Miamisburg, Ohio, U.S.) has moved from its previous 19,500-square-foot location in Xenia, Ohio, to a new, 34,000-square-foot facility located in Miamisburg. The move marks one year since the launch of the company’s new composite parts manufacturing division, Hawthorn Composites (see “Spintech opens new composites manufacturing division, Hawthorn Composites”), and enables further expansion of its two primary divisions, Smart Tooling and Hawthorn Composites.
Located on 1964 Byers Road, a few minutes northwest of the expanding Austin Landing area in the Cin-Day corridor, the new facility features more than 20,000 square feet of conditioned space for the manufacturing of aerospace-grade composite parts and tooling solutions, and 8,000 square feet of unconditioned space for oven curing and finishing. The expanded space includes three loading docks and a drive-in door, six primary curing ovens with the largest being 12.5 x 12.5 x 40 feet, a 73- x 22-inch fabric cutting system, more than 750 cubic feet of freezer space, four infusion vessels and large, fully configurable working areas with three-ton crane access over a 50- X 40-foot area that is expandable to six tons.

“Spintech Holdings is thrilled to be fully functional in our new 34,000-square-foot facility in Miamisburg,” Craig Jennings, Spintech Holdings chief executive officer (CEO) says. “This was a build to suit facility and we are proud of our new home and excited to leverage the facility and our experienced team to meet the growing needs of our continuously expanding customer base.”
The new facility reportedly enables Spintech Holdings to rapidly scale up production and logistics based on customer needs. Since the move, Spintech Holdings has hired three new employees to add to the existing team of 19 employees and one contractor, with more hires expected this year.
