CAMX 2024 exhibit preview compilation, Part 1

With CAMX taking place earlier this year, it’s more important than ever to plan ahead and get an idea of who will be exhibiting. Providing a platform for the latest industry trends and technologies, educational programming and opportunities to network with exhibitors and suppliers, CAMX continues to keep its attendees and exhibitors at the forefront of the composites industry.

As in years past, CW solicited CAMX exhibitors to share the technologies and services that customers can expect to see on display at their booths. What follows is Part 1 of an alphabetical exhibit preview lineup that highlights some of these software, materials, equipment and services. • Abaris Training Resources: Abaris Training Resources seeks to continually provide an ongoing educational experience for students — including a DVD repair course — and technical assistance to customers.
• Accudyne Systems: Accudyne Systems is highlighting its capabilities to develop, design, build and deliver custom composites equipment.
• Across International: Across International is showcasing an array of heat and laboratory materials, including drying ovens, high-temperature furnaces and a bladeless mixing solution.
• Addcomp: Addcomp distributes its AFP-XS systems and now adaptive molds, works with customers to design and install custom systems and develops its capabilities with new partnerships.
• Alzchem: Alzchem highlights the Dyhard series of latent curing agents, providing the balance of mechanical and thermal properties formulators need for thermoset epoxy resin systems.
• American Cutting Edge: Machine knives and industrial razor blades supplier American Cutting Edge offers composites manufacturers staple and custom cutting options.
• Akarmark: Designed and built with safety and durability in mind, Akarmark delivers complete curing autoclave systems for a variety of applications.
• Arxada: Arxada AG showcases its thermoset resins Primaset HTM-100 and Primaset HC for high temperatures, FST, dielectric properties and more.
• Avient Corp.: Specialized portfolio of composite materials and engineered fiber solutions by Avient Corp. includes thermoplastics, thermosets and UD tape options.
• Bespline: Equipment investments and partner collaborations advance bespline’s curved panel offerings and composite part construction services.
• Broetje-Automation: Broetje-Automation’s Staxx family of AFP solutions create an ecosystem of functionality, versatility and scalable automation.
• Century Design: Century Design Inc. highlights its OnDemand towpreg systems, designed to provide differentiation and cost efficiency in-house while maintaining high quality.
• Century Tool: Century Tool specializes in the in-house design, build and run-off of dimensionally large parts and Class A surface tooling.
• Cevotec: Cevotec is introducing the Samba Pro PV-1 FPP system to attendees through a displayed cutout validated with partners and a conference presentation.
• ChemCo Systems: ChemCo Systems’ products are designed to install, protect or repair concrete, steel, wood as well as composite systems.
• Cimbar: The Cimbar Polyfill, PolyJet and Optiload ATH lines are flame-retardant, smoke-suppressant solutions offered in various particle sizes for any industrial application. 
• CompPair: CompPair HealTech solutions give the ability to heal cracks and delaminations in a composite via local heating more than 60 times, available for a range of composite processes.  
• Composites One: Stop by Composites One’s booth to see featured composite solutions, watch live demonstrations at the Demo Zone next door and better understand the level of technical support the distributor provides to composites customers.
• Concordia Engineered Fibers: Concordia Engineered Fibers presents customizable commingled yarn solutions, including environmentally friendly options.
• Cryosound: Crysound presents its CRY8120 series of acoustic imaging cameras, designed to detect gas leaks, identify electrical part discharge and monitor mechanical deterioration.
• CTG International (North America): Taishan Fiberglass Inc., known globally as CTG International, is a high-capacity producer of various fiberglass composite materials, with a focus on ESG and low-carbon operations.
• Eastman Machine: Eastman Machine Co. showcases the Eagle C135, a computer-controlled conveyor and cutting system designed to cut a range of technical and industrial fabrics and composites. 
• Elliott Co. of Indianapolis: Closed-cell Elfoam products offered by Elliott Co. of Indianapolis offer a number of benefits, making it flexible from large-volume to one-off composites projects. 
• Engineering Technology Corp.: Engineering Technology Corp. displays a range of products for composite part manufacturers, including tape wrapping machinery, automated workcells, winding software, tensioning creels, resin baths and more.
• Extec Corp.: On display at Extec’s booth is the Labcut 5000 precision composite plate saw, Nikon MA200 inverted metallurgical microscope and Labpol 12 automatic grinder/polisher.
• Eurovac Inc.: Eurovac’s upgraded central high-vacuum dust extraction systems remove virtually all sanding/grinding dust at the source for cleaner, safer manufacturing.
• Dantec Dynamics: Dantec Dynamics is presenting three of its laser shearography NDT and DIC devices, geared toward reliable measurement results. 
• Diab: Diab introduces sandwich panels that combine its structural foam core Divinycell F and thermoplastic skins, designed to meet current challenges in sustainability, REACH compliancy and more.
• Fairmat: Fairmat, through the presentation of its recycling technology capabilities and examples, highlights its commitment to develop high-performing and reliable composite materials.
• FKgroup: FKgroup showcases its solutions for cutting composite materials, focusing on sustainability and efficiency.
• Hawkeye Industries: Hawkeye Industries showcases its Duratec, Styrosafe, Styroshield and Aqua-Buff product lines for durable, high-gloss composite surfaces.
• Hawthorn Composites: Hawthorn Composites is displaying an inner and outer tail boom and a multi-chamber composite trailing edge control surface, enabled via its Smart Tooling solution.
• Hexagon Purus: Hexagon Purus showcases its portfolio of Type 3 and 4 COPVs which can be configured to meet a variety of needs.
• HK Research: HK Research strives for innovation and customer satisfaction through meticulously produced polymers, liquid pigments and specialty additives and customer support.
• Imate Composites and Logistics: Imate Composites presents a variety of resins, fiberglass and roving products, as well as mats and catalysts. 
• Interplastics Corp.: Interplastic highlights its range of specialty resin offerings, as well as its advancements in R&D producing gelcoats, colorants, bonding compounds, adhesives and putties.
• IPCO US: IPCO highlights its novel precision scattering system designed to process recycled/reclaimed composite materials, as well as the multi-stage ThermoPress double-belt press.  
• IST America: IST America presents a comprehensive selection of UV, IR and hot air technologies, designed to deliver results in less than a minute.
• Janicki: Discuss your upcoming composites projects with Janicki, offering more than 30 years of expertise in tools, parts, prototypes and assemblies design and development.
• Johns Manville: Johns Manville is presenting a range of fiber reinforcement solutions for thermoplastic and thermoset composites, including multi-end and single-end roving options.
• Kaneka Aerospace: Kaneka Aerospace is demonstrating its novel diamine-based bis-benzoxazine resins, with features such as high char yield, for use as CFRP thermal protection.
• Karl Mayer North America: Karl Mayer is returning to CAMX with a focus on fabric- and fiber-handling equipment, in addition to its application development services. 
• KraussMaffei: ColorForm and long fiber injection (LFI) technologies by KraussMaffei support automotive, consumer and other end markets in their quest for high-performance, lightweight parts with aesthetic qualities.
