As part of the company’s global expansion strategy and the increased interest shown to its adaptive mould technology, Adapa A/S (Aalborg, Denmark) has announced Metyx USA Inc. (Gastonia, N.C., U.S.) as its exclusive U.S. dealer, as it pertains to the composite market segments.
Metyx USA, a global Meytx Group U.S. branch, is a manufacturer of high-performance technical textiles along with several other solutions for lighter, stronger, more competitive composite structures globally. The company will market Adapa’s patented reconfigurable mold technology toward U.S.-based composite fabricators and support the architects and consultants involved in creating curved designs and architecture.
“We are excited to be working with Adapa A/S in the U.S. region,” Mr. Ugur Ustunel, CEO of Metyx Group. “With many years of experience in the composite industry, we know how to provide the best solution to meet our customers needs and demands at affordable costs.”
Adapa reports that it has a strong position in Europe, serviced by its headquarter in Denmark, the Middle East, as well as Adapa’s subsidiary company in Dubai, UAE. While the company has designated representatives for concrete applications in North and South America, the company says this is its first entry into the North American composite market.
“The composite industry is rapidly growing, and, when combining our material and manufacturing technology knowledge, we find Metyx the optimal partner,” says Mr. Claus Lokke, CEO of Adapa A/S.
