On September 2, a call went out for abstract submissions for the 2021 Pultrusion Conference. Hosted by the American Composites Manufacturing Association (ACMA; Arlington, Virg., U.S.), and in partnership with the European Pultrusion Technology Association (EPTA; Frankfurt, Germany), abstract applications are encouraged from companies of all sizes. The submission deadline is October 23, 2020.
Presented virtually from April 13-15, 2021, the conference is a business-focused virtual educational program designed to bring current information to senior industry leaders, decision-makers, production managers, engineers and end-users. Currently, presentations will cover all parts of the pultrusion supply chain, from raw materials through manufacturing and end-use applications.
More specifically, ACMA is looking for individual’s work with new materials and market applications that expand the use of pultruded composites. Pultrusion-related topics include:
- Connections/Joining
- Design Techniques/Simulation
- Equipment Design/Tooling
- Manufacturing
- Market Applications and Case Histories
- Materials
- Research & Development
- Standards Development
- Sustainability
The three-day virtual conference will also provide virtual presentations from global industry leaders; networking with fellow attendees and exhibitors on a virtual platform; innovative, new applications and technology; and updated information about quality and standards.
