Gatron (São José dos Pinhais, Brazil) has been elected the Brazilian Top of Mind in the composites industry under the “Innovation” category. The company also had the most votes in the “RTM” category and was among the top three most-remembered companies in six other categories. Organized by the Latin American Composite Materials Association (ALMACO), Top of Mind is the main award offered to Brazil’s composites industry.
“It is very gratifying to be considered the reference company in a transformation process as important as resin transfer molding (RTM). And being remembered as the most innovative company on the market further increases our responsibility to continue looking for new composite solutions,” comments Jean Zolet, executive director of Gatron.
Specialized in the manufacture of composite parts for the wind power, agricultural and road implements, agribusiness and architecture sectors, among others, Gatron also appeared among the three most voted companies in the following categories: “Molds,” “Hand Layup and Sprayup,” “Pultrusion,” “Infusion,” “Continuous Lamination” and “Composites Industry.”
Zolet adds: “The memory of our name in so many categories is a source of great pride for the entire Gatron team. As a company whose mission is to develop solutions through the transformation of composites, this recognition of the market is extremely important.”
