Spheretex appoints Superior as primary core distributor

Superior will provide technical service, guide applicators and stock the full range of Spheretex’ products, with hopes of expanding both company’s presence.

Spheretex (Neuss, Germany) appoints Superior (Indianapolis, Ind., U.S.) as new distributor for the United States. The distribution agreement includes all Spheretex core solutions. Superior will provide technical service, guide applicators and stock the full range of Spheretex’ products.

Holger Zorn, Spheretex’ business development manager, points out that Superior with its dedicated distribution team is the perfect partner to increase Spheretex’ market share and customer awareness on the U.S. market. Mark Sickels, vice president Composites at Superior, endorses that the core materials of Spheretex fit well into Superior’s portfolio. Both hope to be able to present the new partnership to a wide audience during CAMX 2021 (Dallas, Texas, U.S.).

Spheretex provides reinforcement and engineered core materials. A wide range of cores for contact molding are available as well as solutions for closed molding. The latter are available for external infusion and include resin flow channels. 

Superior is a distributors that provides chemical raw materials, formulations, composites and recycling services. Superior operates seven additional full-service facilities.
