Technical paper abstracts are still open for SAMPE 2025

The Sept. 15 deadline to apply is quickly approaching. SAMPE is calling for industry expert technical paper and ITAR abstract submissions for next May.

The Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE, Diamond Bar, Calif., U.S.) has announced a last call for technical paper and ITAR abstract submissions for next year’s SAMPE Conference and Exhibition in Indianapolis, Indiana taking place May 19-22, 2025.

Technical papers are formal written research papers reviewed by industry peers and published in the conference proceedings. SAMPE accepts ITAR presentations; a technical paper is not required. The deadline to apply is Sept. 15, 2024. 

SAMPE 2025 technical paper tracks can fall under:

  • Advances in materials
  • Advances in manufacturing technology
  • AI and machine learning in materials development and analysis
  • Design, analysis and simulation
  • Defense programs and applications
  • HiCAM program review
  • Innovation in materials and processes for the automotive sector
  • Joining and bonding
  • Materials and structures characterization
  • Materials for extreme environments
  • A lifetime of materials and composites advancements: The impact of Dr. Scott Beckwith
  • Sustainability
  • Technology development for the energy transition
  • Thermoplastic materials and processes.

Each technical paper received will undergoes a thorough review by a team of subject matter experts and volunteers. Selected abstracts will be announced on Oct. 17, followed by a technical paper due date on Jan. 17, 2024 (NOTE: no extensions will be granted due to high demand).
