Tru-Design announces distribution agreement with Composites One

Composites One will distribute Tru-Design’s advanced material coatings and finishes for 3D-printed components.

Tru-Design LLC (Knoxville, Tenn., U.S.) has announced that a distribution agreement has been signed with Composites One LLC (Arlington Heights, Ill., U.S.), for the sale of its advanced material coatings and finishes for 3D-printed components made by large area additive manufacturing.

Tru-Design says its coating materials provide smooth surfaces and vacuum integrity for large-scale 3D-printed tools and cosmetic parts.

Our products have been designed to improve the performance of our customer’s 3D-printed tooling and provide a broader band of aesthetic options for large scale printed products,” says Rick Spears, CEO of Tru-Design. “With Composites One’s extensive North American distribution network, world-class service and process technology expertise we are excited by the opportunity to expand the reach of our products.”
