Industrial equipment supplier CAS DataLoggers (Chesterland, Ohio, U.S.) now offer Radionode sensor transmitters from Dekist (Yongin, South Korea). RN17x transmitters are ideal for distributed monitoring applications that require a number of independent measurement points throughout a facility. They can be used for monitoring ambient environmental conditions in offices, labs and warehouses to capture the temperature in refrigerators and freezers, cleanrooms applications, or for equipment monitoring in manufacturing and production.

The RN17x transmitter has a slot for a plug-in and a USB sensor for measuring temperature, humidity, voltage/current and gas sensor parameters. Data is transmitted via Modbus TCP or HTTP to either the user’s PC/server or to the Radionode 365 cloud which provides a real-time dashboard, alarming — through SMS, voice or email — and report generation. The RN171WC provides an Ethernet LAN port and the RN172WC uses WiFi for wireless connection to the network. Transmitters also feature a two-line, four-digit LED display, external DC power or POE (RN171WC) and USB configuration port.
