Cross-functional company provides complete, scalable project support
CAMX 2024: Discuss your upcoming composites projects with Janicki, offering more than 30 years of expertise in tools, parts, prototypes and assemblies design and development.
Janicki (Sedro-Woolly, Wash., U.S.) is a privately owned engineering and manufacturing company, located in Washington and Utah, that designs and builds tools, parts, prototypes and assemblies for various industries, including aerospace, defense, marine and transportation.
With more than 30 years of experience and a diverse portfolio, Janicki has become a vertically integrated, one-stop shop to support projects from design delivery — whether for one-off tooling, prototype projects or full-scale parts and assembly programs.
Janicki’s facilities make it capable of taking on any project size, with 950,000 square feet of production space in Washington and just over 100,000 square feet in Utah. Available large-scale equipment includes multiple autoclaves, ovens, break presses, waterjets, plasma cutters, machine shops, ply cutters, freezers, metrology and nondestructive testing (NDT) equipment. Janicki also owns 10 five-axis mills with envelopes of up to 110" in length, and CNC software that uses custom volumetric error compensation algorithms to provide high accuracy.
Its team has expanded to 1,400 employees and is growing, with more than 300 engineers, an in-house materials lab, an R&D team and more. Janicki’s cross-functional teams are known for producing large-scale, high-tolerance projects on tight deadlines.
In addition, Janicki’s engineers work closely with stakeholders throughout the project’s life cycle to ensure all parties are aligned on project goals, timelines and expectations. It ensures expectations are communicated and met by fostering open communication and close collaboration.
