Filament winding specialist Roth Composite Machinery (Steffenberg, Germany) is exhibiting at JEC World 2024 with an international team of experts from Germany, the U.S. and Korea, presenting its portfolio of services and latest innovations. It is co-exhibiting with composites software company mefex GmbH (Deutschland, Germany), which joined Roth in the development of µRoWin filament winding software. “This alliance shows what our priorities are in Paris,” Roth managing director Dr. Andreas Reimann says.
Having already attracted attention last year, Roth and mefex are presenting further developments to µRoWin. The application for generating machine movement has been specifically adapted to Roth’s high-level filament winding machines. The software can be used to visualize, simulate and optimize tank and pipe processes, with more precision and user-friendliness than before, the companies note. It also ensures flexibility, safety and time savings through its automated processes.
“Our joint presence at the trade fair will enable all interested parties to learn about the advantages and possibilities of the automation software in all its aspects,” Reimann says. “We are looking forward to interesting discussions because it is precisely the interaction at a leading international trade fair such as JEC World that provides important impulses for future developments which we, as recognised filament winding experts, are actively shaping.”
