JEC World 2019 preview: L&L Products
L&L Products (Molsheim, France, 6/R27) is introducing A-K321 and A-K322, acrylic-based, fast-curing, two-component toughened structural adhesives that provide primerless adhesion to most metals, thermoplastics and composites.
L&L Products (Molsheim, France, 6/R27) is introducing A-K321 and A-K322, acrylic-based, fast-curing, two-component toughened structural adhesives that provide primerless adhesion to most metals, thermoplastics and composites. In addition, they provide peel resistance of more than 14 N/mm, reportedly without sacrificing strength, elongation or modulus. Another reported feature includes an optimized ratio of working time and fixture time (5-9 minutes) to minimize cycle times. These products also do not boil at higher bonding gaps, which is said to make them suitable for repair or backfill of large composite structures. These adhesives are low-odor and have a shear strength of more than 18 MPa.
