Accudyne Systems (Newark, Del., U.S.) showcases its ability to innovate, design, build and deliver custom composites manufacturing automation equipment. This specifically includes large pieces of equipment delivered to clients in the past year, including: (1) a novel stringer preform manufacturing machine which can automatically laminate, form, compact and trim multiple stringer preform geometries, (2) a ceramic matrix composite (CMC) material processing cell, (3) a carbon/pitch billet infusion machine and (4) a wind turbine blade robotic material deposition cell.
Accudyne Systems has also initiated several equipment programs — spanning across civil and DOD programs — to include: (1) a large, multi-module stringer preform manufacturing cell, (2) a carbon-carbon tape winding robotic cell, (3) vacuum infusion equipment to produce ablative thermal protection components for orbit/reentry and (4) high-tension thermoplastic filament winding equipment for high-speed rotor manufacture.
Through its material system knowledge and manufacturing process integration, Accudyne cites a focus on innovation, quality, continued support, and customer satisfaction.
