This webinar will discuss the results of one of the first neutral head-to-head studies of using graphene in a two-part epoxy system.
A total of no less than 17 different forms of graphene were dispersed to create master batches that were then subsequently let down into formulations of just 0.5% and 0.1% loadings by weight of graphene to form test coupons at the Advanced Composites Center at the University of Maine.
Learn how the project was developed, executed and—most importantly—how this project has developed into a commercially-available enhanced bisphenol-F (bis-F) epoxy slurry.
Agenda
- Anonymous head-to-head study of 17 different forms of graphene
- Tested at 0.1% and 0.5% loading
- 70% improvement in flexural modulus and 30% improvement in flexural strength
- Now commercially available in an off-the-shelf bis-F slurry
