Shipbuilding company Royal Huisman (Vollenhove, Netherlands) has chosen BMComposites’ (Palma, Spain) composite flagpole antenna mount for the company’s 47-meter SY Nilaya superyacht. The luxury vessel is built with an aluminum hull and carbon fiber superstructure, with teak decks.

BMComposites’ flagpole antenna mount is tailored for the Starlink flat high-performance antenna, offering a host of benefits to superyacht owners. Constructed from high-strength, autoclave-cured carbon fiber, the mount ensures durability and optimal performance. Its design includes an internally run halyard and integrated composite mounting base, all customizable to match the yacht’s aesthetics.

According to BMComposites, one of the standout features of the flagpole is its variable length, adjustable between 1,500 and 3,000 millimeters, making it versatile for different yacht configurations. This flexibility, combined with its capacity to provide interference-free, high-speed connectivity, makes it an ideal choice for modern superyachts.

“BMC designed and built a modern, subtle, Starlink flagpole for SY Nilaya, blending into the yacht’s aesthetic,” Captain Jon van der Horst Bruyn of SY Nilaya emphasizes.
