The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX, Diamond Bar, Calif., U.S.) has announced a call for companies to submit applications for its CAMX Awards and Awards for Composites Excellence (ACE) by July 16, 2021. CAMX 2021 will be taking place October 19-21 in Dallas, Texas.
Both sponsored by Composites One (Arlington Heights, Ill., U.S.), the CAMX Award is said to celebrate visionary concepts and products that show strength through collaboration, while bridging low-cost materials/high-volume applications with high-performance applications/low-volume materials. This award will be given to two companies that reflect the depth and breadth of the CAMX theme “Combined strength. Unsurpassed innovation.”
Similarly, the ACE awards will recognize notable achievement and innovations in technology, manufacturing and product development. Hosted by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA, Arlington, Va., U.S.), the program will present six awards in three categories at CAMX including Design, Manufacturing and Market Growth.
Past winners for these awards include 3M Co. (Saint Paul, Minn., U.S.), Mighty Building Inc. (Oakland, Calif., U.S.), Spirit AeroSystems (Wichita, Kan., U.S.) and LyondellBasell (Houston, Texas, U.S.). For some inspiration, watch the 2020 CAMX Awards and ACE winners webinar recording.

- Displayed on the CAMX show floor to attendees
