Composite materials distributor Composites Canada (Mississagua, Ontario, Canada) announces the purchase of The Paint Company (Plain City, Ohio, U.S.). As of July 7, 2021, Composites Canada has been running a high-end specialty coatings division from an additional production and shipping facility located in Brantford, Ontario. With products from Baril Coatings (Angola, Ind., U.S.) and Endura Manufacturing (Alberta, Canada), Composites Canada’s coatings, which cover a wide array of composite, metal, wood and concrete surfaces, are known for their toughness and UV resistance.

Now that it has added a long-standing technical distributor of industrial coatings, Composites Canada believes it now offers a greater coatings selection. The Paint Company’s Ron Allman will continue managing this division for a continuation of high-quality service and technical support, which the company has been known for. Further, Ron’s hands-on experience as a former auto body shop owner, knowledge of coatings, and years in distribution make him a welcome addition to the Composites Canada team.

This acquisition follows Composites Canada’s purchase of Airheart Distributing Inc. back in February for high-performance resin systems.
