The first Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ, Toulouse, France) TwoTwenty was successfully delivered to Comlux (Zürich, Switzerland) from the Airbus A220 Final Assembly Line in Mirabel, Canada. The all-new business jet, complete with composite wings, will be joining Comlux’s facilities in Indianapolis, Ind., U.S., for the VVIP cabin completion in coming days — the company was selected as an exclusive outfitting partner for the first 15 ACJ TwoTwenty aircraft. This first aircraft is expected to enter service with its owner, FIVE, in early 2023.
The ACJ TwoTwenty, says Airbus, is a new value proposition to business aviation buyers. The solution combines intercontinental range enabling the aircraft to fly up to 5,650 nautical miles/10,500 kilometers (more than 12 flight hours) and unmatched personal space providing comfort for each passenger with 73 square meters/785 square feet of floor space.
