Gurit
Gurit (Zurich, Switzerland) on Nov. 19 announced that Peter Pauli has decided to resign from the Board of Directors of Gurit Holding AG at the end of the current statutory term of office in 2019.
Peter Pauli has informed the Board of Directors that he will resign from the Board of Directors of Gurit Holding AG after the 2019 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and will not run for reelection. Pauli has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Gurit Holding AG since April 23, 2012.
SCIGRIP
SCIGRIP (Washington, UK), a global supplier of smarter adhesives solutions, on Nov. 20 announced the appointment of Sharon Georgoulias as president of IPS Adhesives. In the role, Georgoulias sits on the Executive Management Team of IPS Corporation (Compton, CA, US) and oversees strategic and operational activity of the adhesives division, of which SCIGRIP is a part.
Georgoulias joined SCIGRIP in 2016 as vice president of Development, coming from Rieke Metals, where she served as chief commercial officer.
Web Industries
Web Industries Inc. (Marlborough, MA, US), a precision formatter of flexible materials and provider of outsource manufacturing services, announced Nov. 1 it has appointed Andrew O’Connor to the position of vice president of quality. In this role, O’Connor will provide leadership and accountability for all quality resources across Web Industries.
O’Connor will work collaboratively with Web’s operations and quality managers to establish a quality vision and strategy based on a prevention-centered approach. In the coming months, O’Conner will assess all of Web’s major facilities and evaluate the company’s current quality performance in order to further enhance Web’s quality management system.
Before joining Web, O’Connor was global director of quality, health, safety and environment, as well as business improvement for Rolls-Royce Naval Marine.
