SHD Group expands prepreg production with Tulsa facility 

SHD now operates two U.S. facilities as well as others in the U.K. and Europe, dedicated to reliable, long-term prepreg supply.

SHD Composite Materials Inc. (Mooresville, N.C., U.S.), part of SHD Group, announces the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Tulsa, Okla., U.S. The expansion into a second U.S. factory is part of SHD’s ongoing commitment to increase production capacity, ensuring continuity and consistency of composite prepreg supply to its North American customers, with the highest level of quality and short lead times. Further expansion in staff and production capacity are planned over the next few months.

The east coast factory, located in Mooresville, N.C., U.S., will continue to act as SHD Composite Materials Inc. headquarters and technical service center. 

“Opening of the SHD Tulsa facility is yet another exciting development on our growth roadmap,” Jami, Keogh, SHD CEO, reiterates. “Not only are we underpinning our commitment to customers, we have also taken this opportunity to recruit some highly experienced and knowledgeable staff who I am sure will add greatly to the SHD team.”              

SHD Composites Group operates through four manufacturing sites in the U.K., Europe and U.S., and is a well-established industry supplier of high-quality component and tooling prepreg materials.
