Training lineup, engineering consultation services support composites education
CAMX 2024: Abaris Training Resources seeks to continually provide an ongoing educational experience for students — including a DVD repair course — and technical assistance to customers.

Abaris Training Resources Inc. (Reno, Nev., U.S.) is an advanced composites training center. Louis C. Dorworth, Abaris’ direct services manager, is participating in conference offerings and is on hand, along with other staff members, to discuss regular Abaris course offerings related to composites manufacturing and structural repair for the aerospace, automotive, transportation and wind energy sectors — all of which are designed to meet the specific needs of the ever-evolving composites industry. In addition, Abaris is highlighting a new course in double vacuum debulk (DVD) repair technology, as well as the company’s regular lineup of engineering, manufacturing, repair and nondestructive inspection (NDI) courses.
With three fully functional classrooms and adjacent workshop areas located at its Reno, Nevada headquarters, Abaris can accommodate multiple classes simultaneously, or present classes on-site at customer facilities, offering more options for students to get the training they need throughout the year. Abaris focuses on active, hands-on learning methods in both the classroom and the workshop for all courses, so students experience an education that will enhance both their knowledge and tactile skills.
In addition to these education opportunities, Abaris offers engineering consultation services and other technical assistance to help customers streamline their development or production efforts. The company’s Direct Services Team is able to assist in making material and processing decisions at the beginning of a project or troubleshooting anomalies found in current processes.
To help save on tuition costs, Abaris is offering a $100 discount to all CAMX attendees. Simply use the discount code CAMX100 (case sensitive) upon checkout online through the website or contact Abaris and mention the code when enrolling.
