Insulation, building envelope solutions improve manufacturing, fabrication
CAMX 2023: Kingspan Insulation is highlighting its EPS composite and ISO-CF structural foam core, low-temperature pipe and mechanical insulation and sheet insulation solutions.
Kingspan Insulation LLC (Atlanta, Ga., U.S.), a subsidiary of Ireland-based Kingspan Group plc, offers high-performance insulation and building envelope solutions.
The company has a reputation as an authority on low-temperature pipe and mechanical insulation, sheet insulation and composite foam cores. Six decades of improvements in manufacturing and fabrication capabilities, product development and independent certifications have gone into ISO-C1 and ISO-HT polyisocyanurate insulants for mechanical pipe and sheet insulation. Kingspan Insulation’s expanded polystyrene (EPS) products, such as geofoam, holey board, packaging and special cuts also provide quality and value.
Kingspan Insulation manufactures ISO-CF structural foam core polyisocyanurate (a modified polyurethane) that can be fabricated to almost any shape for flat, curved or kerfed applications. ISO-CF sheets can be provided in thickness from ½" to 24" and widths of 38", 48" and 52" with lengths up to 24'.
The company also manufactures various densities of EPS composite core materials from 1.0 to 3.0 pcf and fabricates its EPS with CNC capabilities to create customized foam core solutions. We also manufacture XPS composite core materials that can be used in a variety of applications with compressive strengths of 25, 40 and 60 psi.
In addition, Kingspan Insulation claims to have one of the most efficient and effective vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) in the high thermal resistance insulation market, the Threshhold VIP. These product solutions are used in shipping containers for medical, food and beverage, chemical reagents and other applications. With a thermal conductivity of 2.88 mW/m-K (R-50/in), Threshhold VIP is “the next step” in the advancement of vacuum insulation.
Kingspan Insulation is a solutions provider that can custom tailor materials to its customers’ applications.
