Composite formatting services accelerate aerospace and related applications

CAMX 2024: Web Industries’ Aerospace Business Unit is on-site to exhibit its various precision formatting offerings for composites manufacturers, in addition to supply chain and material management solutions.

Web Industries Inc.’s (Marlborough, Mass., U.S.) Aerospace Business Unit will showcasing its composites formatting expertise for aerospace, defense, space/launch, aerostructures, urban mobility/eVTOL and energy applications.

Web Industries enables innovation for OEMs and Tiered suppliers with its precision formatting processes for advanced composites, including thermoset and thermoplastic materials. With manufacturing facilities in the U.S., France and Germany, the company says it provides solutions to some of the world’s largest aerospace programs.

“At CAMX, Web Industries is exhibiting precision formatting, including slitting, winding and spooling, plus ply cutting and kitting,” says Jason Surman, vice president of aerospace. “We also highlight innovative supply chain solutions and material management services that empower our customers to revolutionize air and space travel.”

Additional design and manufacturing services at Web’s exhibit will include:

  • Multilayer insulation (MLI) and soft goods
  • Additive manufacturing
  • Assembly and custom packaging
  • Aerospace-grade quality and traceability
  • Vendor managed inventory.

Visitors have the opportunity to meet with representatives of Web’s Aerospace Business team to discuss solutions for existing and planned applications.
