Brazilian Conference on Composite Materials 2022 calls for abstract submissions
Abstract submissions will be accepted until Dec. 31, 2021 for the sixth iteration of the conference, which will be held Aug. 14-18, 2022 in Tiradentes, Brazil.

The 6th Brazilian Conference on Composite Materials (BCCM6) announces that it is accepting abstract submissions until Dec. 31, 2021. To be hosted at the Santíssimo Resort in Tiradentes, Brazil, from Aug. 14-18, 2022, the conference congregates Brazilian and global students, professors and researchers from academia and industry to promote the recent developments and discuss the challenges in composite materials in Brazil and abroad.
The comprehensive range of topics to be covered include:
- Damage and fracture.
- Simulations in composites.
- Multifunctional structures.
- Durability and aging.
- Mechanical and physicochemical properties of composites.
- Nanocomposites.
- Recycling and reuse of composite materials.
- Experimental techniques
- Lignocellulosic composites.
- Manufacturing and processing of composites
- Structural health monitoring (SHM) in composite structures.
BCCM’s committee includes Conference Chair Túlio Hallak Panzera, UFSJ (Federal University of São João del-Rei); and Co-Chairs Carlos Alberto Cimini Junior, UFMG (Federal University of Minas Gerais) and Rodrigo Teixeira Santos Freire, UFSJ. The organization committee is composed of all members from UFSJ, including Flávio Napolitano, Guilherme Germano Braga, Leandro José da Silva, Maurício de Moura Nilton and Rodrigo José da Silva.
