CT Engineering (Madrid, Spain) has been appointed as an engineering, manufacturing engineering and services strategic supplier (EMES3) by Airbus (Toulouse, France), earning a place among the top global Airbus suppliers.

The multi-year framework contract was awarded after a highly demanding selection process spanning several months. It enables CT Engineering to continue providing services to all Airbus divisions, subsidiaries and affiliates, particularly in the design and manufacture of composite and metallic structures, as well as after-sales engineering services. According to the company, this achievement is the fruit of CT’s operational excellence, extensive industry and digital transformation know-how, along with its proven track of record in Airbus flagship programs.

“We feel honored to be appointed by our long-standing customer, Airbus, and being recognized as one of its top-performing suppliers,” says Francisco Marín, CT key account manager for Airbus and country manager of Germany. “Now we look forward to continuing to provide end-to-end engineering and digital transformation solutions for the years to come.”

CT Engineering is a technological company that provides innovation and engineering services throughout the whole product life cycle. Working with Airbus since 1995, CT has been a part of Airbus’ preferred supplier list since 2008, and is also a member of a select group of research and technology suppliers. The company has supported Airbus on its flagship aircraft programs including the C235/295, A340-500/600, Falcon F7X, A400M, A330MRTT, A380, A350, Eurofighter and H160, among many others.

“This appointment is a testament to our CT brand and our committed people working at CT or Airbus facilities side by side with their teams every day,” continues Marín. “Our expanded geographical footprint (with more than 25 sites covering all Airbus Divisions - Defence and Space and Helicopters) and Simultaneous Nearshore engineering are key to providing local management to a global customer and drive sustainable business growth. This achievement proves our successful strategy which consists of providing quality services, on time, with a competitive offer to Airbus as a transnational and multi-skilled supplier.”
