The 17-part educational video series focuses on current and upcoming trends in thermoplastics, including aerospace applications, co-consolidation and more.
The Society for the Advancement of Materials and Process Engineering (SAMPE) North America, has announced the launch of a 17-part educational video series, focusing on current and upcoming trends in thermoplastics, including aerospace applications, co-consolidation, success factors and more.
The video series is available free to SAMPE members, who will receive a new video each week, starting March 26. Originally filmed at CAMX 2019 in Anaheim, Calif., U.S., the videos feature Arnt Offringa, Head of Thermoplastic Composites at Fokker, GKN Aerospace, and former president of SAMPE Europe. The series can be viewed here.
“This series of videos is a great way for our members to enhance their professional skillset through online training, which is something SAMPE members can enjoy from any computer throughout the world,” says Gregg Balko, SAMPE’s CEO and executive director. “We are also encouraging our members to ask each other questions about what they’ve learned through our discussion forum and social media. With the current pandemic limiting engagement with our fellow peers, this video series and our forum is where we can stay in touch with each other and enhance our professional development.”
