YTU Racing team employs Kordsa composite technologies in Formula Student competition
Kordsa, supported the YTU Racing team by providing composite materials that were used at the hull, wings and seats of the team’s vehicle.
Yıldız Technical University (Istanbul, Turkey) Racing team, reinforced by Kordsa’s (Istanbul, Turkey) composite technologies, recently participated with its fifth vehicle in Formula Student, the largest engineering competition held in Autodromo Riccardo Paletti in Varano, Italy. YTU Racing team finished in twentieth place out of 60 teams in Formula Student which aims to develop enterprising, innovative and well-equipped young engineers.
Kordsa, supported the YTU Racing team in this project by providing composite materials that were used at the hull, wings and seats of the team’s vehicle to make these parts stronger, more durable and lightweight. Kordsa will continue to support the YTU Racing team, which now aims to take part in Formula Student East race.
